Chateau Leoville Las Cases 2003 Chateau Leoville Las Cases (half bottle) - Bordeaux Blends Red
Wine Red
Wine by Ch?teau Leoville Las Cases from St-Julien, France - Bordeaux. Incredible nose of crushed berry,
licorice, violets and lightly toasted oak. Pure creme de cassis. Full-bodied, with big, velvety tannins and a
long, long finish. Solid. Best after 2011. 97 Points Wine Spectator
Chateau Montrose 2005 Saint-Estephe (half bottle) - Bordeaux Blends Red Wine Bordeaux
Blends Red Wine by Ch. Montrose from St. Estephe, France - Bordeaux. The 2005 Montrose is an exceptionally
tannic, broodingly backward offering displaying a dense ruby/purple color along with a provocative perfume of
crushed rocks, flowers, cassis, black raspberries, and blueberries. It continues to add weight and richness,
good traits considering the substantial, forbiddingly high tannin levels and zesty acidity. If you are over
the age of fifty, this backward, powerful wine will probably be more enjoyable to your descendants.
Anticipated maturity: 2020-2040+ -Wine Advocate
Andersons Conn Valley Vineyards 2006 Right Bank Proprietary Red Wine - Bordeaux Blends Red
Wine Red
Wine by Andersons Conn Valley Vineyards from Napa Valley, California. Medium ruby with purple edges. Aromas of
cigar box, currants, mocha and black stone fruit. A very rich and plush nose with some violets and chocolate.
Lots of blackberry and anise on the palate along with coffee bean, plum and spice. Medium mouth feel with
depth and richness. The tannin and fruit are well balanced. Long finish with fruit in the background. Medium
after taste. This wine will keep getting better for 8-10 years and hold for another 8 years at least. The 2006
Right Bank, a blend of 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot, has sweet notes of bouquet garni intermixed with
roasted coffee, chocolate, black cherry, and black currant. The wine is deep, rich, round, but once the
tannins kick in at the back of the palate, this wine clearly begs for bottle age. Give it 4-5 years of cellar
age and drink it over the following 25+ years. -Wine Advocate 95/100 Robert Parker
Catena 2005 Zapata - Bordeaux Blends Red Wine Red
Wine by Catena from Argentina, South America. The flagship wines begin with the purple/black-colored 2005
Nicolas Catena Zapata, a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Malbec. The fruit was sourced from four of
the estate's finest high-elevation vineyards, and aged for 24 months in 100% new French oak. The brooding
bouquet delivers pain grille, mineral, violet, scorched earth, pepper, espresso, black cherry, and black
raspberry aromas leading to a dense, opulent wine with gobs of savory fruit, ripe tannins, terrific
concentration, and a 60-second finish. Allow it 6-8 years in the cellar to reveal its full potential and enjoy
it from 2015 to 2030. -Wine Advocate
