The Olive Garden take for stuffed mushrooms is definately one of my true favorites! I relish ordering the ever popular appetizer every time I dine at the Olive Garden with my family . This variation is lighter then the restaurant’s one ; it is done with olive oil & is baked with a tomato based sauce. not as many cheeses in the recipe makes it a more heart healthy dish . The end result is a luscious appetizer or buffet plate that will impress your household & friends.
This isn’t the Red Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms, but try it anyway , I think you will like it.
1 pound medium or big mushrooms
One c dry bread crumbs
1 tsp dried basil
2 table spoonful grated parmesan cheese
minced or chopped fresh garlic (to taste)
salt & pepper (to taste)
Two table-spoon olive oil
Sauce
One small onion, chopped
Two tbsps olive oil
One to eight ounce can tomato sauce
One quarter teaspoon oregano
fresh garlic (to taste)
Wash & dry the mushrooms & remove the stems. Hollow out the mushroom caps reasonably by digging with a tea-spoon . commixture the bread crumbs, basil, parmesan cheese , garlic, salt & pepper & olive oil; combine them well. Fill the mushrooms with the crumb motley. Paint a shallow baking dish with non-stick cookery atomiser. Put the mushroom caps into the baking dish.
Prepare the sauce. Saute’ the onion in the oil in a small pan until it turns clear . Add the rest of the ingredients; stir well & simmer ten mins. Pour the sauce equally over the mushrooms. Stick` in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
Red Lobster Bahama Mama
Ingredients
* 1/2 fluid ounce rum
* half fluid ounce coconut-flavored rum
* half fluid oz grenadine syrup
* one fluid ounce orange juice
* one fluid ounce pineapple juice
* one c crushed ice
Directions
1. Combine regular rum, rum with coconut flavoring, orange juice,pineapple juice,genadine and crushed ice in an electrical liquidiser.
Blend until the drink’s consistency is slushy.
